Vader's Story...
Vader (male)

Hi! My name is Vader and I am a male, 1/4 month old black and white cat. I am very affectionate and need a mommy. I was found on the road by a few guys and they couldn't find mine. I weigh about 1 pound and am not litter-box trained, not fixed, and not up-to-date on my shots. I'd really like a chance to prove I'm the kitten for you. I need a little special care since I'm so young, but that shouldn't put you off! If you're looking for a great cat, look no further because I know you'll be pleased with me! If you would like to meet me, please call Harley Hopkins at 318-780-8902 or email me at transformationanime@yahoo.com. There is a screening process to adopt me and my adoption fee is a suggested donation to Pet Savers of $30 for their help in rehoming me and to help assure I go to a good home. Once you adopt me, PLEASE get me spayed/neutered to help control the HUGE overpopulation and euthanasia rate in this area. Robinson’s Rescue low-cost Spay/Neuter Clinic (Shreveport) offers special low-cost pricing for spaying and neutering. Call 318-861-0101 for your spay/neuter appointment ONLY, not about me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Vader, a Haughton Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Haughton, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Haughton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Haughton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Haughton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Haughton paves the way for another one to be saved.
