Ruby Lynn's Story...
Ruby Lynn is a wonderful Cattle Dog, Shiba Inu mix, or this is what we believe that she is mixed with. She acts like both terrific breeds. This is the type of dog that can easily go off leash, and wants to herd like a Queensland Heeler. Her body shape is also like a Queenie, but her actions, attentiveness, and energy can sometimes be like a Shiba. She also has a red coat, and a curly tail like a Shiba. She is a terrific dog that lived with another dog. She is not a typical Downtown Dog because she did not come off the street, or out of the shelter. Sad to say, her owner is dying of breast cancer, and does not have a family member who will take her. Ruby's companion dog was already placed, but no one would take Ruby. She is three years old, and has spent most of her life living inside, going on walks, going to the dog park, and now she is sitting in a small dog run at our vet's office waiting for her next forever home. Maybe your home will be the one that Ruby is waiting for? Please call Sandy at 818-407-4145 or e-mail Lori@modernica.net to meet this great dog!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ruby Lynn, a Los Angeles Cattle Dog/Shiba Inu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cattle Dog/Shiba Inu for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Cattle Dog/Shiba Inu dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cattle Dog/Shiba Inu breeders who help with Cattle Dog/Shiba Inu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
