Firsalar's Story...
Firsalar a Turkish Angor Mix, is a ball of mischief rounded out by a few extra pounds of purrs. This cupboard lover when she isn't playing with her food-ball which she lives for, is planning new strategies to break into the pantry to refill it. Food seems to be her favourite pastime. Next in line though is her long list of supervisory duties: sitting on computer keyboards to give dictation, reading a good book, or ensuring those essays are proofed for grammar and spelling. Approval for a task well-done is a lovingly administered head-butt. If you are an experienced cat owner and have a household of teens Firsalar is the cat for you. She interacts well with adults and older teens but prefers to be the only cat in a family that will treat her as the princess she is. To help Firsalar find a home as soon as possible, we are waiving the normal Abbey Cat Adoption fee in lieu of a donation of the adopters' choosing (minimum $75.00).

About Our Rescue Group...
Abbey Cat Adoptions is a registered Canadian charity dedicated to finding permanent homes for unwanted cats and kittens throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Each year, ACA rescues cats from outdoor environments and overcrowded shelters.
Our cats live in a network of volunteer foster homes throughout the GTA until they are adopted into suitable, loving homes; we do not have a shelter. We are not government funded and we have no paid staff; we rely exclusively on the generosity of like-minded animal lovers to fund our program.
Our Adoption Process...
We want to make sure that our rescued cats and kittens go to good, loving homes so before we adopt, an adoption counselor will conduct a short pre-adoption interview to make sure that you and the cat are a good match.
175 dollars for 6 months old & up (including spay/neuter)
90 dollars for kittens (not including spay/neuter)
