Dandy Doxiepoo's Story...
Meet Dandy, an energetic, happy-go-lucky Dachshund/Poodle mix. He is 1-2
years old, very playful and loves to snuggle. We don't know alot about his
background, only that he did not come from a good situation, but he is
working hard on putting all of that behind him and learning to enjoy life like he
should. He is very smart and has proven to be a quick learner. He loves
playing with the other dogs in the house so it would be nice to see him go to
a home with another dog, although that is not required. Dandy wants nothing
more than to be near you. If you think Dandy might be a good match for you
and your home, please email for an application. Dandy's adoption fee is $150.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dandy Doxiepoo, a Kansas City Dachshund/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Kansas City, or seeking a Dachshund/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Kansas City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kansas City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kansas City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Dachshund/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kansas City paves the way for another one to be saved.
