Angus's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Angus's Story...
Who says that just because I have a  beard I am a 'manly man' ? Just the opposite indeed! I am a lady's man, a lover ,a bit of a pushover. I have some good manners tucked under my belt- I am housebroken and crate trained plus I know some basic commands. I wasn't treated so well by a man in the past so I am a bit timid of men at first. So if I can find someone sweet and gentle with some spare time to spend pampering their pooch- well then I have met my match. I love to play with other dogs and I do adore children and I am oh so sweet. Didn't I say I was a lady's man! 3.5 years old-85lbs. My adoption fee is $160 and includes; current shots, neuter, microchip, 1 month pet health insurance, free veterinary exam, 5 week training class, new leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Angus, a Portland Rottweiler/Irish Wolfhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler/Irish Wolfhound for sale in Portland, or seeking a Rottweiler/Irish Wolfhound dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler/Irish Wolfhound breeders who help with Rottweiler/Irish Wolfhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
