patent leather EBONY's Story...
Sleek and beautiful Ebony loves other cats, particularly adult females. He wants to play and snuggle with them, but if they aren’t in the mood, he’ll play on his own and not bother them. He even grooms and rubs against a cat who has tried not to like Ebony and chases him sometimes! Ebony is still a little fearful of humans who are standing and walking toward him, but accepts petting and grooming once in your lap. He’ll also sleep with you at night, so with a little patience will probably love you as much as other cats. If your cat needs a little buddy, and you don’t need or expect an instant lap cat, Ebony is a perfect match.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

patent leather EBONY, a Cincinnati Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
