Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Keisha has been doing good in her foster home but she doesnt love the male dog who is also not a big fan other dogs. We think Keisha would be fine with a submissive male. She currently is in boarding and we would love to have her back in a home while look for a forever home for her. If you can foster please let us know!
Keisha's foster mom reports that she is very loyal and obedient and anybody would be lucky to have her. She knows a lot of commands and it is very clear to us that she has had obedience training in the past. In fact, a three-year-old neighbor has Keisha sitting and laying down for him! Her foster mom feels she would be an excellent candidate for tracking or rescue work. She loves the people that she meets on walks and loves kids. She likes to be the alpha girl and is okay with submissive dogs.
Keisha is completely housetrained and can be trusted to roam the house without getting into mischief. Her foster mom says she is not a barker and follows her around the house. She loves her nightly walks and is good on the leash with a harness.
8/20/2010: Keisha is a local rescue and is located right here in Maine. Keisha weighs approximately 70 pounds. Her foster reports that she loves to ride in the car and is very food-motivated. We are told that she is a very sweet girl.
Stay tuned for more updates on pretty Keisha!
