Age: Around 10 weeks - Born around August 13, 2010
Level of blindness: Totally blind
Cause of eye issues: Unsure-seems to have been born blind. Maybe microophthalmia in one eye? Will see veterinary ophthalmologist soon.
Health issues: None
Weight: 12 pounds on 10/24/10 -- UPDATE 20 pounds on 11/10/2010
Good with dogs: She is doing well with the big dogs she lives with. She just arrived, check back for updates!

Information:
Theia was at a shelter in Tennessee when BDRA was notified that she needed help. It appears she was born blind, though she will need to see a veterinary ophthalmologist. She just arrived at her foster home, but so far she is a LOVE. She loves to be carried around and nap on your shoulder. She travelled up from TN with an 8 week old puppy-Plato, also available for adoption, and they had a great time playing. She has met the 2 big dogs in her foster home and done well. She is settling in nicely. She loves all people and comes running, wagging her tail, when her name is called. She is just as cute as can be. Check back for updates as Theia makes herself comfortable in her new foster home!
