Scooter and Flurry's Story...
Scooter (female-black)

Hi! I'm Scooter, sister to Flurry who is also posted. I am a female 8-week-old cocker spaniel mix. My mother is a small tan cocker who was rescued off of death row at the pound, but they didn't know she was pregnant! No idea about daddy - but could have been a lab or lab mix from the looks of us! I am very loving and cuddly and will lay on my back and let you rub my belly forever! Mama has found her forever home and now me and Flurry need ours! Call Molly at 230-3621 or go to www.beckysbridge.org to fill out an application to adopt me!

Flurry (female-white w/black)
Hi, I'm Flurry, an 8-week old female cocker spaniel mix puppy. They named me Flurry because I look like an oreo McFlurry! My foster mother rescued my mom from the pound off of death row and didn't know she was pregnant with me and my sister, Scooter. My mother is a small tan cocker and has found her forever home and now it's our turn!! Nobody knows who daddy is, but looks like maybe a lab or lab mix of some sort. He must have been cool, though, because we have wonderful personalities - we love to romp and play and know to go to one end of our crate to potty! Please call Molly at 230-3621 or go to beckysbridge.org to fill out an application for me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scooter and Flurry, a Haughton Cocker Spaniel puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Haughton, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel puppy from a breeder in Haughton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Haughton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Haughton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Haughton paves the way for another one to be saved.
