CHARLEE's Story...
You will see when you interact with Charlee that he is super handsome with a unique red color. We believe he is a mix of Blood Hound and Lab, but whatever he is, it is mostly Labbie and mostly happy, mostly friendly, and mostly goofy!! You would make a wonderful family for Charlee if you want to make him part of your happy home. You will enjoy his hugs and kisses and trust me they come in an endless supply. When you say his name his tail wags so hard his whole big ole body moves back and forth as fast as it can. He gets super excited for his walks and does pretty good on the leash when you use a pinch collar and will be fine with a little more work on a regular collar.
Charlee is good with other dogs and is living with 5 other dogs from Pups to old boys. He is super good so far with kids except that he can be a bit intimidating for small ones because of his size. We believe the best family would be one with kids over 3 years of old. He is a great car partner and likes to insert himself into the drivers seat when you get out of the car...guess he thinks he is a better driver than YOU. So far Charlee has loved all his new 4 legged friends...big and small alike but would do fine with just one other friend. Chalree likes to be with you when you are home...no leaving him outside while you are in...he will let you know that's not okay! If you would like to know more about Charlee let us know.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CHARLEE, a San Diego Labrador Retriever/Bloodhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Bloodhound for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Bloodhound dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Bloodhound breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Bloodhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
