I am already neutered, in need of an experienced adopter, and up to date with shots.
When Smokey was first recued, you could barely touch him without him growling, etc. It's been a while and his progress is amazing. He now will give kisses and let his foster family pet him. BUT>>> he still has the potential to bite. He also has an old injury on his back hind leg . But in all honestly, Smokey runs around completely fine, he is quite fast and can jump the baby gates with no problem. He seems in no pain and is a fast little guy. The foster mom is prepared to keep him unless some experienced person would show interest because of his personality, he can be quite a handful, and still may bite. He requires grooming frequently. He does get along well with dogs most of the time. THIS DOG IS NOT AT THE AFW SHELTER. THIS IS A COURTESY LISTING FOR A PRIVATE INDIVIDUAL LOOKING TO REHOME THEIR PET. PLEASE CONTACT THE FOSTER DIRECTLY. Contact Gina at email@example.com
Smokey was abandoned with his two other housemates by his owners at a vets office in Los Angeles. The vets called animal control to come get the dogs. As the officer was picking up the dogs, a customer saw him say to the vet that all three would most likely be euthanized. The vet said there was nothing he could do. This kind person tirelessly networked the dogs who were at the North Central Shelter. One dog was adopted out, but the other two were certain to die. Fortunately, the foster mom rescued Smokey and another group saved his friend. Smokey is a well behaved little guy...he is about 30 pounds and is happiest sitting by your feet. He gets along with dogs of all sizes and likes to run around the yard. He's rather mellow and a great companion. He is very well behaved in the house, housebroken and up to date on all shots. Please consider giving Smokey his forever home!!
You can see some of our adoptable pets every Sunday at the Petsmart in Greensburg from noon to 4pm and some Saturdays too. All adoption fees include spay/neuter and up-to-date vaccinations
