Chelsea's Story...
Arrival story: Chelsea was a stray picked up by a rural shelter. Waggin' Tails pulled her because the shelter was full and her time was limited.

Approximate age / weight: 2 years old and 40 lbs.

Personality: Chelsea is very, very affectionate and wants to be with her people. She is definitely a “flopper”, as soon as she’s near you she will flop over into any position to cuddle & get petted. She is a total goofball who will keep you laughing.

Forever home: Chelsea would prefer to be the only dog in the household. She has a great energy level – active but not hyper. Her favorite thing to do is sleep on the couch with you. When you’re busy she’s content to entertain herself, she is a doll!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chelsea, a Northville German Shepherd Dog/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Beagle for sale in Northville, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Beagle dog from a breeder in Northville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Northville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Northville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Beagle breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Northville paves the way for another one to be saved.
