Here he is, another poor dog who found himself dropped off at a shelter and named LUCKY! That's the name given to him by the owners who gave him up after 10 years. His luck is going to change when he gets into the home of a caring senior-dog lover! This sweet boy is approximately 10 years old and weighs only 8 pounds. His Italian Greyhound genes have given him long legs and wonderfully soft fur that has been described as "minky." This affectionate little man loves nothing better than to cuddle on your lap. What a great friend he'll be!
Lucky Louie was obviously neglected and came to us with major dental problems. He had 30 teeth removed and came through the surgery just fine! Although he can't eat hard, dry food his appetite is still great. He walks well on a leash but would like to have a fenced yard where he can play in safety. Louie has no interest in other dogs and would be quite happy being an "only child." He's up to date on his shots and will be neutered before going to his Forever Home.
