Crash's Story...
CRASH IS IN FOSTER CARE, PLEASE CALL THE SHELTER TO MEET HIM. Crash is a 6 year old black neutered male pit bull mix. Here is what his foster mom has to say" Meet Crash! He's a fun-loving, 6 year old Pit Bull Terrier Mix who's looking for his forever home. Crash has fit right in with my family and our dog (and our bed at night!). He didn't beg at the dinner table on Thanksgiving (unlike my dog!) Someone has taught this dog some manners. Look at these pictures attached...he's decided that my son's blanket is his favorite item in the house!

Crash is neutered, knows basic commands, loves car rides, great with kids, great with dogs, walk OK on a leash, but not sure about how he is with cats.

My kids (ages 11 & 5) gave him a bath and he did great...a little peanut butter in a bowl helped too! Also found out that he LOVES the snow–rolling in it, licking it, chasing snowballs...WHAT A FUN BOY! "
His adoption fee is $40 which includes his rabies vaccination. Please call the shelter at 208-794-0944.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Crash, a Meridian American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in Meridian, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Meridian.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Meridian already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Meridian breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Meridian paves the way for another one to be saved.
