Meet Cruz! This super handsome black lab pup is around 4 1/2 months old. He rode well in the car, didn't have any accidents. He has a bit longer hair, almost like a black Flat-Coated Retriever. He is soooo good looking! Cruz is looking for his forever home after a rough start on life. Open your heart and home to him and you will not regret it!

UPDATE FROM THE FOSTER MOM: Cruz is doing great and learning fast!
*It seems as though Cruz doesn't like cats.

UPDATE ON CRUZ 11/13/10: Cruz is a very handsome 4 and half month old labbie. He is going to be a BIG boy, so anyone that is interested in adopting him must have that in mind. He is handsome, fun and happy. Cruz loves to run, de-stuff toys and play with other dogs. He is the typical lab puppy.

UPDATE FROM THE FOSTER MOM: Cruz is doing great! He's been with us for two months and I think he's doubled in size. He's learning to fetch, but hasn't quite gotten the hand of returning what is thrown. Mike will stand at the stop of the stairs and throw a ball down the stairs. Cruz will bring it back, but before he gets back to the top of the stairs he ends up throwing it down himself, just to chase it again. He's getting along with my three dogs very well and even has the 10 year old playing like a youngster. Cruz is either sleeping or in constant motion. Mike has compared him to a tank - he only moves forward. If he wants my attention and I'm busy, he'll crawl into my lap and start licking my ears! That just makes me laugh and I can't help but play with him. He's a charmer.
