Gage's Story...
Hi, I'm Gage,

I am a super cute gray and white boy kitten who is about 12-13 weeks old. I love to talk to you be with the family at my foster home. I would probably do best in a home where I can have another kitty friend becasue I love to have company. I will follow you all over the house. My brother Clark and I were rescued from Sac County Animal Control. We were back in sick bay, but we weren't even sick. We love the 4 year old boy at our foster home. We chase him and jump up on his bed to sit with him. So we must be special because he usually doesn't like any foster kitties in his room. But with us he said it was okay to leave the door open because we like him! (mj)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gage, a Sacramento Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
