Parsons's Story...
I'm a sweet boy named Parsons. I'm a natural blonde, and you know what they say, blondes have more fun. Well, it wasn't fun when my family decided to move and took me to the pound, I'll tell you that much! I have such a gentle, loving nature; it's hard to believe my family didn't want me anymore. I'm still in shock, and trying to understand what happened. I'm already housetrained, and I very much like kids and other dogs. I walk so nicely on the leash, and I just love spending time with you. I'll look lovingly into your eyes, searching for reassurance and I long to be a cherished member of your family. My soft coat craves your tender touch, and I'd love nothing more that to sit with you and tell you how much I love you. I'm a real teddy bear of a guy who will make a perfect addition to your family. (PLEASE NOTE: I can only be adopted in the DC Metropolitan area. There will be no exceptions to this policy.)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Parsons, a Aldie Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees for sale in Aldie, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Aldie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aldie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aldie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aldie paves the way for another one to be saved.
