Hello! My name is Belle and I am a Hahn's Macaw. I am about 10 years young! I am super sweet and step up when asked. I do talk a little, I say "Hello" "Goodnight" and "Heather" (which is my foster mom's name), "Come here, Heather" and "Whooooo!" (a high pitched fun noise) and I toot (fart noises). I now make kissy noises when you give me kisses. I also must have whatever you are eating or drinking or I get mad and bite your ear. I am currently really protective over my foster mom, but she is working with me to be better with others and not attack them. I just want her to myself, that all! I have perfect feathers, which I like to preen everyday. I LOVE noise making toys, which my bell is my favorite. I like to nap with my bell by tucking it behind my wing. It has to go with me wherever I go. At night, I tell you goodnight until you say it back and then I will go into my happy hut for the night. I don't like to scream, I like to call my foster mom if she is not in my sight. I don't like other birds on my cage, so I need my own space so they don't bother me. I can't fly, but my wings are not clipped. I love to be on shoulders, and will give kisses when you ask for them, but I get a little nervous if I am off my cage for long. I will make an EXCELLENT member to your family if you give me a chance.
