Sasha's Story...
RRRIIIINNNGGG THOSE CHRISTMAS BELLS!! AND I HOPE TO HEAR THEM FROM MY NEW HOME!! "Sasha" is lovely, very fitting of her lovely name. She is a splendid coloring of tortoiseshell....just look at that gorgeous face and beautiful body! She has huge beautiful green eyes, which look stunning with her unusual tortoiseshell coat. She's a large girl, not fat, just a great-looking large girl. Not only is she as pretty as they come, but she's just as sweet! She was brought to the Shelter through no fault of her own....her owner is going through some financial troubles and just couldn't afford to keep her. But this gal deserves to get into a loving home soon. She would be ever so thankful to be sitting on a soft couch in a wonderful home for Christmas, rather than the small kennel she's currently in. Make her holiday wish come true and step in and ask to visit with her in our Cat Room. She's a lovely, she is!! Kennel #113.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sasha, a El Cajon Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
