Louie's Story...
We’re sweet and bonded siblings, Louie and Lisa. We’re so close, we’re the same color! You need our collars to tell us apart. And because we’re so close, we asked for names that start with the same letter. Louie and Lisa is very alliterative. We’d love to be adopted into a home together if at all possible. Louie is a sweet boy and ever so handsome. Lisa is the playful girl with a lot to say – quite a chatterbox. Both are friendly, with hearts as big as their purrs. We both look like bengal/tabby mixes because we have the most beautiful stripes and spots. Feather toys, shoestrings, laser pointers, all are so exciting for kittens like us. Oh, and our mom, Lizzie, is just as playful as we kittens – maybe someone would consider adopting our whole fabulously tangerine-colored family?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Louie, a Aldie Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Aldie, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Aldie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aldie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aldie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aldie paves the way for another one to be saved.
