Safari's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Safari's Story...
What shall we play next? Even though I'm barely three months old, I know all sorts of games already! Some of these I play with other dogs, like tug of war and wrestle mania. I entertain myself by playing with toys and chewies and do fine on my own. I even know lots of games I play with people, like sit and wait. I would have to guess there are zillions of things for us to play and I'm just waiting to learn them all! I'm a retriever mix girl and I'm brimming with enthusiasm for everything. I'm crate trained and I even go in there to nap sometimes when I need to recharge. Don't tell anyone but I am housetrained, too. People tell me I'm a very pretty little girl. That doesn't matter to me. Instead, let me know what we will do next and I'll get right on it!

We require an application, phone interview and home visit prior to adoption. We will not discuss a specific dog with an applicant until the adoption process is completed. Our adoption fee for dogs under 9 months is $250, dogs between 9 months and 8 years is $195 and our super seniors are $175. Please visit our website for more information. Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Safari, a Evergreen Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Evergreen, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Evergreen.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Evergreen already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Evergreen breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Evergreen paves the way for another one to be saved.
