Dutchess's Story...
Dutchess (female)

Hi, my name is Dutchess. I am a female, brown, pitbull mix. I love to play and be lazy. I also needs lots of attention. I weigh aout 45 lbs and I'm a good watch dog. I am very friendly to women and children, but a little more cautious of men. I am an inside dog and housetrained, but not utd on my shots or spayed. I know that I could be the peice of your family that you are missing, so please call my owner to meet me. Her name is Ahsley and she can be reached at 318-426-5942 or littlemizzmuffett_1989@yahoo.com. Please give me a good home. There is a screening process to adopt me and my adoption fee is a suggested donation to Pet Savers of $30 for their help in rehoming me and to help assure I go to a good home. Once you adopt me, PLEASE get me spayed/neutered to help control the HUGE overpopulation and euthanasia rate in this area. Robinson’s Rescue low-cost Spay/Neuter Clinic (Shreveport) offers special low-cost pricing for spaying and neutering. Call 318-861-0101 for your spay/neuter appointment ONLY, not about me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dutchess, a Haughton Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Haughton, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Haughton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Haughton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Haughton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Haughton paves the way for another one to be saved.
