Sunny's Story...
Sunny and his mom, Wild Honey, arrived from a Nevada feedlot in August, 2009. Both were very emaciated, but Sunny was cute as a button! Sunny is an awesome, quiet, & very laid back young gelding. He is learning all the groundwork basics including backing, yielding forequarter & hindquarter, head down cue, circle game, etc. He is easy to groom, trim, worm, and vaccinate, and would be suitable for a first time foal owner working under a trainer's guidance as he is still very young and will need training. He is a good citizen and very passive colt and he is ready for his forever home! Will be vet checked, gelded, and current on vaccines, worming, dental and hoof care. http://www.allaboutequine.org/our-horses/available-horses/sunny Our pictures don't do justice to the appearance and character of our horses; please take time to schedule a visit.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sunny, a El Dorado Hills Paint/Pinto/Other/Unknown was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Paint/Pinto/Other/Unknown for sale in El Dorado Hills, or seeking a Paint/Pinto/Other/Unknown from a breeder in El Dorado Hills.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Dorado Hills already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Dorado Hills breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Paint/Pinto/Other/Unknown breeders who help with Paint/Pinto/Other/Unknown rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Dorado Hills paves the way for another one to be saved.
