George von Harrison's Story...
George von Harrison is a stunning 2.5 year old sable German Shepherd. Everyone who sees George comments on what a gorgeous and hunky boy he is. He is on the taller side, and should weigh around 80-85 pounds at his ideal weight. We're not sure what happened to his family, but someone spent some time with him teaching him how to walk on leash - he's excellent and walks right by your side, very close to you. He sits for his treats and is wonderful with people. He hasn't quite realized he's not really supposed to be a lapdog, and tries to get as close to you as he can. We will add some new pictures soon, these really don't do him justice, he's a lot more handsome in 'person'.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

George von Harrison, a Los Angeles German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
