Julie's Story...
Cute, petite Julie is one of three kittens born to a stray cat that someone was feeding but didn't bother to spay! She is very playful and adventurous and has never met a toy she didn't like! She enjoys getting human attention when she's not busy playing with one of the other friends she has made at Tuxedo Junction (Charlotte is her best buddy).

Julie was born in June, 2005. She tested negative for FIV and FELV, has been spayed, is current on vaccinations, and microchipped. She is ready to go to a home without young children, and because she LOVES other cats would enjoy having the company of another playful kitty in her new home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Julie, a AUSTIN Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in AUSTIN, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in AUSTIN.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in AUSTIN already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a AUSTIN breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in AUSTIN paves the way for another one to be saved.
