Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi everybody! My name is "Kippy" - short for Kippity-Do-Dah-Day! I am a good girl just trying to find a home to call my own! I have had a rough start but am learning day by day to become trustful of humans. I think women are more my type, because frankly men scare me a little....the man in my life was not very nice to me and I am still fearful. I like other dogs but I would do better being an only child as I used to have to fight for attention and I didn't like that. I am a bit on the quiet, timid side, but ever-so-happy nonetheless. I get very excited when my foster mom comes home to take us to run and swim. However, when in the house or car, I lay quietly near my foster mom and adore the individual attention. I have much to learn about being part of a family, but I am willing and able! Please just allow me the time and patience while I learn to trust you. I promise I will be a very good girl deserving of your efforts, and in return give you more love than I even knew was possible! By the way, I am about 7 years old so I won't run you ragged chasing varmints or dragging you down the road by your leash! I'm past the wild puppy stage and never was the bouncing-off-the-wall JRT that we can be!
Remember 7 years old is NOT old for a Jack. They can easily live to 16 years of age.
