Buffy's Story...
Buffy is an intelligent little pup that came from an unexpected litter that was surrendered along with her siblings from a private home. She is an adorable little girl. Buffy is currently working on her house and crate training and will make a wonderful family pet. She is approximately 12 weeks old and will be approximately 50 lbs as an adult.

Buffy has been vaccinated (first booster), dewormed, and has been given a clean bill of health by our veterinarian. Her mother appeared to be a Collie/Shepherd/Lab type mix (medium size) and her father is believed to be a Retreiver/Collie type mix.

Buffy is approximately 12 weeks old. Her ideal family should be willing to commit to her training and socialization and would preferably live in a house with a fenced yard.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buffy, a Hamilton Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Hamilton, or seeking a Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Hamilton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hamilton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hamilton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hamilton paves the way for another one to be saved.
