Trixie's Info...

Trixie's Story...
Trixie is a 1 year old Border Collie mix that weighs about 28lbs. She has a beautiful black and brindle coat and has a blue spotted tongue so we think she may be mixed with Chow.

Trixie is a super happy girl that loves to play with other dogs. She just adores everyone she meets and will let you know just how much she loves you with lots of kisses.
Trixie would make a great addition to any home. She would do well with kids and another dog in the home. She would love an active family that will play ball with her or take her on long walks. Trixie is an extremely social little girl that would benefit from a home that will provide her with some obedience training, she doesn't appear to have had any formal obedience training.

Check back soon for more information as we get to know Trixie better.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trixie, a Worcester Border Collie/Chow Chow dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Chow Chow for sale in Worcester, or seeking a Border Collie/Chow Chow dog from a breeder in Worcester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Worcester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Worcester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Chow Chow breeders who help with Border Collie/Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Worcester paves the way for another one to be saved.
