Hello!
I've been so busy with my newborn puppies that I am only now getting a chance to introduce myself!
I am a beautiful lab cross as you can see in my pictures. On October 31, I gave my Foster Mommy the biggest scare by giving birth to six healthy puppies! I had only been rescued a few days before and I just couldn't wait anymore at all! I now beam ear to ear with smiles as I love being a Mommy but this will be my only litter. I was rescued heavily pregnant and will be spayed shortly after my pups are weaned.
I now a little bit more time as my pups are now opening their eyes and becoming more mobile in my whelping box! With this time, I am going to be carefully screening all applications for my babies! I have to make sure they go to the best forever homes! In addition, if I come across an application that is to give me my perfect forever home I will be thrilled to review it!
I am about a year old and 60 lbs. I am the most mellow girl ever and am very submissive. I walk great on the leash but I only like being outside with you - I go for really quick washroom breaks and then rush back in because I am so scared I won't be let back in the house again.
I get along with other dogs and am good with cats - in fact I'm a little scared of the cats in my foster home!
I will be eagerly waiting applications for my puppies and myself! We will ready to go on New Year Eve's - the perfect way to start a new year!

Hi!
We are really tiny - only 3 weeks old. We were born on Halloween and gave our Foster Mommy a big scare as it was so quick after my rescue - I popped out my babies only 4 days after my rescue!
There are four of us girls and two boys! Our eyes are just starting to open and we do puppy push-ups all day long as we are trying very hard to walk! We have the BEST mommy in the world and we know that we are going to grow up to be just as gentle as her!
We are not sure who are Daddy is but we do know that we are going to be 60-70 lbs dogs!

July 4: Hey! I'm finally ready for adoption! I have been with Rescue for Life for 10 months now and 6 months in my current foster home. My foster mommy, along with Rescue for Life, has taught me that this world is a wonderful place. I now LOVE going for walks and getting belly rubs. I'm still on the shy side and I still learning new things everyday. My perfect forever home will include at least one other doggy in the home and no young children since loud, fast things are still not my favorite! Hey, no one is perfect and I just like the quieter life! I am very submissive in nature and I get a long great with other dogs. I love going to the offleash dogpark. I do wear a special harness to stop me from pulling but for me this is a great improvement! I used to be scared silly of just seeing a collar and leash.
Feb 22: I was returned to Rescue for Life as my family did not think I was a match. Over the past couple months my Foster Mommy and new pack has taught me lots of things. I am still on the shyer side and excel better with other dogs around. Everything is still new but if you do things in baby steps with me I do adapt! I now enjoy going for walks with my brother Jasper and sister Petra. I can only walk on a harness as I was tramautized by something around my neck in my past. I respond very well to my harness and I even walk out in front of my brother and sister with lots of confidence! I am now starting to look for my forever family. I would like my forever family to have at least one other dog becuase I still rely on other dogs for my confidence.
Oct 16: Hi...it's me Princess. I am now known as Princess Miah and called just Miah because it was so confusing for Prince and myself. Now I have to make sure that I don't get confused with my two-legged sister's name - her name is Moriah! I want to tell you how much I LOVE my new family. I have the same family as my Prince and I am so so happy about this. I am still learning so much, especially how to trust and even just really basic stuff. My whole family is so kind and gentle with me. I get lots of treats and pets also. For the rest of this year I get to just "settle in" but in the new year I am going to go to obdience classes with my whole family to learn lots of new stuff. Stay tuned for new pics!
Sept 1: It's us...Prince and Princess. Do you recognize us? A few months ago Rescue for Life sent out an email on us looking for foster/adoption homes and noone responded at the time. It became criticial that we be rescued because we got into porcupines and had faces full of quills! On the weekend of of August 29-30 seven volunteers organized a rescue mission to bring us in.
It was one of the hardest rescues Rescue for Life completed because I was very very shy and not sure of people - I was never treated very kindly in my previous life. It took about 10 hours over two days but we brought in both Princess and Prince. They were both brought to the vets and in the past week have recovered from quills and also being spayed/neutered.
Princess: I am a young gal just starting my life! As you can see I am a very pretty girl with many different colors in my fur! Now I love being petted and can't stand to be not around my foster folks! I am a Shep Collie cross and very smart. I made my rescuers be very patient over the course of two days - when I finally felt comfortable I went into the kennel with the yummy food. I had lots of quills removed from my face and in the past week I got spayed!
Although I would love to get adopted with my Prince, it's not required. I would love to go to a home with another dog since I gain confidence from other dogs.

Shiloh Sassy
Hi!
It's the very pretty Shiloh Sassy here! I was rescued from a dump with the big lovable Reuger Rogue and although I don't feel very pretty yet everyone at Rescue for Life keeps telling me that I am very beautiful and that my outside looks will match my inside personality in just a couple of months - I am really excited to look like a pretty girl like all the dogs with Rescue for Life.
When I was rescued, I was covered in tar and it has been a challenge to get it all off me. During my spay, I got lots of it shaved off me so I am feeling so much better!
My Foster Mommy tells me that I am just brilliant! Wow! She is so impressed with me and doesn't understand why I could be thrown out in a dump. I am house-trained and kennel-trained.
I love going for walks and being part of a family!
I am working on my manners and learning so many new things in my foster home. But most importantly right now I am just trying to gain some much needed weight and I am spending all my time healing on both the inside and outside.
I get along with dogs and cats but I would do better in a home with dogs my own size! I would be good in a home with older kids as I am still learning my manners and I sometimes don't realize that I am not a big lap dog!
I am a Shep Husky cross and I probably have some collie and rotti mixed in somewhere - I'm a mixed breed! I am about 50 pounds right now but I need to gain some much need weight!
I am starting my search now to find my forever home but I won't be ready for another few weeks - I have to be 100% healthy before I get adopted!

Nov 16: I'm adopted and back, but not due to any fault of mine! My family LOVED me but one of my two-legged sisters was allergic to me. The family who adopted me is willing to attest to my good behavior if you need a character reference! I am great with kids and super intelligent. I am crate-trained and fully-house trained. I am an active boy and love getting my excercise! I hope you're not laughing at my very big ears!
Oct 25: I'm adopted! I met my new forever family today and it was so much fun! They have been so excited to me and they are in love with me! But I am told I have to wait TWO whole weeks before I get to go home with them. They are getting ready to bring me home and I am in some one-in-one training with my Foster Mommy since she knows lots about training. I'm actually just a big rambunctious puppy so she is just with me on basic manners. I am so excited!
Sept 4: I was rescued from a dump with Shiloh Sassy! It is believed that she is my Mommy because she sort of lets me get away with way too much! I am very very thin right now but the most handsome boy in looks and personality! I am really a big puppy that just wants to play all the time!
I am house-trained and kennel-trained and am now working on my manners! My Mommy also says that I am so smart!
I am a big playful boy right now and I'm going to get a bit bigger too since I am only about 9 months old now!
I will be getting neutered next week so after that I will be tested with other boy dogs. Right now I am good with all girl dogs (big or small) and I'm good with cats too!
