Max's Story...
Meet baby Max! At 10 weeks old, he joins his 4 brothers and 1 sister, found being sold on the side of the road, in our care. Our volunteer saw them and couldn't resist taking them home with her! While we cannot confirm, our vet believes this litter to be purebed yellow English-style Labrador Retrievers. Max is a bit different than his siblings and appears to be red sable in color, which is not commonly seen.

Max is a real ham and loves to play, cuddle and be with people. He will be arriving in his CT foster home the first week of December. Please complete our online application: www.labrescuenetwork.com and we will contact you. Max is neutered, fully vetted and current on all of his shots. His adoption fee is $450.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Houston Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Houston, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
