Simba's Story...
Simba is the sweetest, happiest boy! He loves to cuddle, loves to play, and when he gets excited or happy his entire body wiggles!!

Simba is 4 years old and dark blue. He has the softest fur! He loves to play with other dogs but also craves human attention, he would do great in a home either with another dog or as an only dog. He loves to go for walks and walks very well on a leash, he'll even carry his leash for you!

He crates well but can also be trusted to free roam. Simba will need a home that has a fence, his recall is good but only when he is good and ready to come.....he has a small case of "selective hearing"!

Simba is very loving and nurturing, he has a stuffed dog that we affectionately call his "stuffie" that he carries around everywhere. He takes it to bed, outside to potty, on walks (when he's not carrying his leash), he is never without it!

Simba is a wonderful boy who is looking for a forever home that will give him all the love and affection he deserves!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Simba, a Grand Haven Weimaraner dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Weimaraner for sale in Grand Haven, or seeking a Weimaraner dog from a breeder in Grand Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Weimaraner breeders who help with Weimaraner rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
