Doodlez's Story...
Doodlez is a little doll and he knows it! When he walks he holds his head and his tail up high and prances around. He is 2 yrs old and weighs about 14 lbs. Doodlez belonged to a family at one time but they left him unattended with a 4 yr old child as they both napped together. For some reason Doodlez bit the child and ended up at animal control. We don't know if possibly the child rolled on top of Doodlez or pulled his tail or what because he has shown NO aggression since that incident. In fact, he has stolen the hearts of everyone thats met him. However, he needs a home with no young children just to be safe.

Doodlez has been neutered, updated on rabies and distemper and tested negative for heartworms.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Doodlez, a Duluth Shih Tzu/Lhasa Apso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Lhasa Apso for sale in Duluth, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Lhasa Apso dog from a breeder in Duluth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Duluth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Duluth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Lhasa Apso breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Lhasa Apso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Duluth paves the way for another one to be saved.
