Cocker Spaniel Dog for adoption in Montclair, California - PEGGY SUE

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

PEGGY SUE's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

PEGGY SUE's Story...
Peggy Sue was found wandering along dangerous train tracks. She had mats so terrible that her feces were tangled in it, and bald spots from where the mats had ripped out. She also was covered in ticks and fleas.

She is now feeling much better. She just learned how to "sit" and we are working on other commands, leash etiquette and most importantly not darting out any door that is opened. She needs to find someone committed to continue working with her.

She is spayed and she doesn't appear to have ever had puppies. She needs to be an indoor dog. She has great indoor manners. She has high fondness of cats, so if you have a cat that likes dogs... she'll be in heaven.

Peggy Sue loves to be hugged. Enjoys her occasional bowl of vanilla ice cream with a little whipped cream. Doesn't seem to shed much and has amazing velvety fur. She is a really cute lady who still thinks she's a puppy with quite a personality.

If you are interested in learning more about Peggy Sue, please email me (Stacey) directly. I am her foster home and am responsible to getting her adopted out. by email only

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PEGGY SUE, a Montclair Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Montclair, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Montclair.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Montclair already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Montclair breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Montclair paves the way for another one to be saved.
