found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, housetrained, and up to date with shots.
My name is Teddy and actually I’m just about the size of a teddy bear, and a little less than a year old. I’m probably more of a Maltese than a Bichon, since my fur is kind of silky and straight. But I’m 100% sweetheart!
They asked my foster mom what I do that’s cute, and she said “everything he does is pretty darn cute.” Awwww, thanks, Mom. I’m good at making people laugh. If somebody leaves a sock or a t-shirt on the floor, I pick it up and drag it all over the house, and then put it down somewhere else. Mom and Dad call it my ‘redecorating service’. (But I do it very gently so nothing gets damaged.)
I love to play with toys, all kinds, from my rope to my squeaky bone, and I’m really good at sharing with my doggy foster brothers, too. We get along so great and like to chase each other at what Mom calls “top speed” around the yard, until we finally get tired and just plop down and take a long nap. And I like human kids, too, not just fur ones! Even though I’m a young guy and love to play, though, I’m still also very quiet and mellow. There’s nothing I love more than a nice soft lap to crawl up into and be snuggled.
Mom says to tell you that for a puppy, I know a lot of stuff already. I’m housebroken and already know some commands like “sit” and “come” and “no”. One thing I’m learning still is not to be so shy. Sometimes I get scared at first with new people, especially men and I just freeze or crawl under a chair. But my aunties at BFK say that they have met plenty of fur kids like me over the years, and that once we are with a loving, patient forever family, we come out of our shells with everybody. So if you’re looking for a sweet little guy who is a “cuddlebug” and an “angel”, I might just be the one for you.
Please write and ask for Teddy. And I promise to love you forever!
Kisses and soft snuggles,
Truly Terrific Teddy
