Date Posted: 11-22-2010 INFORMATION: Jill (or Jill-e-bean as we often call her) is a sweet loving lady who's tail hardly stops wagging. She just turned 3 years old October 6th and after having raised the last of her babies is now ready to find a home of her own. Jill is a little shy with new people at first but warms up quickly as soon as she figures out you will scratch her back. She loves to play with toys and wrestle with the other dogs in her foster home and usually only barks during play. She may be small but she doesn't think so when she takes on and bosses around the bigger guys. She is curious about cats but doesn't chase. She travels well and even did some longer RV trips this fall. Se's still working on house manners but is reliably pad trained.
HEALTH: Very Good! She has been neutered and is current on her vaccinations.

News
Hello! and we are excited to introduce ourselves!
Luv-A-Chin Rescue is devoted to the Japanese Chin breed - pure & mixed. These are great, quiet, catlike dogs that are good family pets whether you live in an apartment, condo, townhome, single-family home, acreage, etc.
One good thing is that these wonderful little dogs are fairly unknown, but more and more, they are starting to show up at auctions- so that makes our work that much tougher. We support those that help spring as many as we can from the breeding cycle in these mills - and welcome them into loving foster homes - making their way to their forever homes!
Please understand, not all of our dogs come from puppy mills! We also willingly pull from shelters, owner surrenders and referrals from other contacts & rescues.
Who We Are
We are a small rescue, relying totally upon volunteers, located out of Sioux Falls, SD but our reach extends to foster homes all the way to NY state, with others in between! We call South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Missouri, New York, Maryland & Massachusetts our home, with Oregon soon to be added to our mix!
We are an approved 501(c)3 non-profit organization and are here for the dogs!
.
We do not have a physical shelter. All of our furkids are located in foster homes - this location is included in each profile. We do allow out of state adoptions, but understand that the distance between your location & the foster home may involve additional costs for transport.
We are all volunteers and welcome more to join us in our love for this wonderful breed.
Adopting a friend
Please understand, we will carefully place each of our dogs into their new homes upon completion of our application, reference check and home visit. All of our dogs will be completely vetted, altered, microchipped and this is included in the adoption fees as they are posted on each pet's profile. Each of our dogs remains in foster care until they are adopted. It is also important for the foster home to approve of the placement, as these fur-kids become a part of our family.
Our Adoption Fees are based by age, health, and breed/type.
We are willing to transport our kids to homes out of our specific locations, but understand, any costs for air travel is the responsibility of the adopter and varies by airline. Due to the breed - air travel by cargo is restricted by outside temperatures AND length of flights. Some of our foster homes do not feel comfortable with flying their kids by cargo - so if you are willing to fly to the nearest airport so they can ride comfortably in the cabin - that IS preferred.
We also have a network of wonderful volunteers that can help us transport by ground - if you are willing to assist with the transport - that is all the better!!
