Rose's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Rose's Story...
Rose is an adorable Pittie mix that is all white except for a black "heart-shaped" patch on her back end. She also has the cutest pink ears and black speckled nose. She is just about 2 years old and is not very big girl ...only about knee high and weighs about 45 pounds. Rose is a perfect little lady that would make a great addition to any family! She is a happy girl, but is more on the mellow side and is just as happy playing around as she is all curled up to take a nap. She walks excellent on a leash. She aims to please her people and listens and takes correction very well. She gets along well with other dogs and even shares her foster home with a cat that she does occasionally like to chase, but also means no harm and does not try to hurt.

Rose is healthy, spayed, de-wormed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, and heartworm-tested. To meet and possibly adopt her, please contact Melia at for an adoption application. She is currently in a foster home in Naperville, IL and would love to find a forever home to call her own. Her adoption donation of $200 benefits the rescued dogs of Lucky Dog Rescue.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rose, a Chicago Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
