Murphy's Story...
Hi, Murphy here!

I was born on 10/20/2010 and am a blue boy. I am told I'm very sweet and I also am stinkin' cute (like my sister Gabby)!

I love to play, play, play!! I am a ball of energy. I live with three other weims and a pug. I get along well with the other dogs – especially my 84 lb. foster brother. He is a lot of fun to play with.

I also live with four kids and I do great with them also. Potty training is going well. I am a very smart boy and have learned that if I go potty I get a treat and thats really cool!!

If you are interested in meeting me please contact the GLWR and let them know.

Hugs and smooches! Murphy

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Murphy, a Grand Haven Weimaraner puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Weimaraner for sale in Grand Haven, or seeking a Weimaraner puppy from a breeder in Grand Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Weimaraner breeders who help with Weimaraner rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
