Razzie's Story...
Razzie is a sweet, energetic and fun 18-month-old, 45-pound, female Cattle Dog-mix - with one blue eye and one brown eye - looking for a loving home. Razzie walks well on leash, gets along great with other dogs, is crate-trained and appears to be housebroken. She’s snugly with people, and gives kisses. She knows to sit, or lay down for a treat and she takes then very gently. Razzie is deaf; so she watches for direction. She would do well with another dog to be her ears in her new home, although she’d also be fine as an only dog. She’s best in a home without cats. Because she can’t hear you, she can never be let off leash in an area that isn’t fenced in with at least a six-foot fence. Heres a great resource for training deaf dogs http://www.deafdogs.org/training/ Razzie is healthy, spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm-tested, and on heartworm preventative. Her adoption fee of $200 benefits the dogs of Project Rescue Chicago. To meet and possibly adopt her, please contact info@projectrescuechicago.org or 312-623-0939. Razzie’s adoption fee of $200 benefits the dogs of Project Rescue Chicago.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Razzie, a Chicago Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cattle Dog for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cattle Dog breeders who help with Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
