Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Beylea is a 5-6 months old yellow girl. She is very sweet but a little skittish. These pictures were from her first day at her foster home. She has already relaxed a lot more and she is slowly coming out of her shell. She loves to play with other dogs and in fact she is more relaxed around other dogs: We think she needs a home with another young dog to play with. She is very affectionate and bonds very easily. She is very quite and loves her crate. Beylea needs a calm home where she can keep learning to trust people.
UPDATE: Beylea has already come a long way and she is not so skittish anymore. She loves to play in the backyard with her foster sisters but then she runs back in to lie at your feet for a nap. Beylea is a gentle soul slowly discovering that life is not scary and it can actually be a lot of fun. Watching her coming out of her shell is heartwarming. Come and meet her and she will touch your heart.
UPDATE FROM THE FOSTER MOM 12/10: Beylea has made great progress in the past month. She now walks easily through an open door, which is a major step for her. She is very affectionate, and has made her place in the pack in our home .She loves to play with toys, go for walks and sleep by our bed at night. The crate that was once her refuge and safe place, is no longer needed. This little girl has come a long way in a very short time, but she definitely still has a ways to go in regards to trust. Once you earn her trust, she will be by your side forever. She is waiting for someone to step up to the challenge and give her a forever home.
