Claudia (FIV+)'s Story...
My name is Claudia. I am a sweet, sweet girl with a sad, sad story. My mom is elderly and has broken her hip. She had to go to a nursing home and is
sadly having to give me up for adoption. She really wants me to get a wonderful, new permanent home. I am FIV+ but have not had any problems with
that. I am used to being an only kitty and don't really care for dogs. I love to lap-sit with people. I am a beautiful chinchilla Persian. I am about 12 years old and got a healthy check up last week at the vet. My hair is usually longer, but it is growing out from the last trip to the beauty shop. Please consider making me a part of your family. Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Claudia (FIV+), a Chattanooga Persian cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Persian for sale in Chattanooga, or seeking a Persian cat from a breeder in Chattanooga.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chattanooga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chattanooga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Persian breeders who help with Persian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chattanooga paves the way for another one to be saved.
