My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The holidays are upon us and it's the most wonderful time for some cheer. There'll be parties for hosting, marshmallows for toasting and our Taylor can't wait to be a part of it. Taylor is a 3-4 year old sweetheart who has had a rough year and is looking forward to celebrating a new life. She was one of over 100 animals that were confiscated by authorities from a "puppy mill". Many of the animals were dead and the rest were living in horrific conditions. They were all taken to a local shelter where some were placed into forever homes by the county and some were turned over to rescue groups. Taylor was extremely emaciated, had ear and eye infections and itched all over from sarcoptic mange. And to make matters worse, she was heartworm positive and was just about ready to deliver a litter of puppies. Though she was frail from neglect, she was a great mom to her babies. Once the babies were weaned, we were able to start working on her. She is now finishing heartworm treatment and is totally healed from the other health issues. "It's the most wonderful time of the year... There'll be much mistletoeing and hearts will be glowing when loved ones are near."
