Rickles's Story...
What's going on? What are we going to do next? I'm sure it will be a lot of fun! Yes, I know that a five month old Golden Retriever/Poodle boy recently released from a puppy mill should not be this outgoing but that's just my nature! I guess I never knew I was supposed to be afraid of people so I'm not. I'm great with other dogs, playing for hours with them. I'm sure I'll figure out housetraining very shortly. I'm already crate trained! The way I look at it, I have it all. I'm as cute as can be, unbelievably happy, and ready to learn anything you want! So, when do we meet?

We require an application, phone interview and home visit prior to adoption. We will not discuss a specific dog with an applicant until the adoption process is completed. Our adoption fee for dogs under 9 months is $250, dogs between 9 months and 8 years is $195 and our super seniors are $175. Please visit our website for more information. Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rickles, a Evergreen Golden Retriever/Poodle (Standard) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Poodle (Standard) for sale in Evergreen, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Poodle (Standard) puppy from a breeder in Evergreen.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Evergreen already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Evergreen breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Poodle (Standard) breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Poodle (Standard) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Evergreen paves the way for another one to be saved.
