Charm's Story...
I’m “charmed” to meet you! Get it? OK, OK, bad joke. But I definitely fit my name! I’m Charm and I’m a very charming girl. I like getting pets and attention, and I’m very curious about the world around me. I had a home at one point, and I’m really hoping to have one again, and this time, for good!

I arrived at MaxFund from Aurora Animal Control. I have a microchip, but it isn’t registered, so my owner couldn’t be found. No one knows if I got out and got lost, or if my owner deliberately abandoned me. Either way, I’m really hoping that my luck will turn around. Maybe I need a lucky charm!

I’m a very pretty, friendly girl with soft black fur, so I hope that the right person comes along to fall in love with me. My photo really doesn’t show how beautiful I am, so I guess you’ll just have to come down and meet me in person. I don’t really like other cats around me, so I would rather be an only cat. I haven’t been around dogs, so I’m not quite sure how I would be with them. I am declawed if you care about that. Like many declawed cats, that means I use my mouth to defend myself and may bite you. I mean no harm but know that I may do that. I think I have a lot of love to offer and a lot of years of companionship and friendship to provide!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charm, a Denver Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Denver, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
