Dakota's Story...
Oh don't be alarmed - I realize that us black kitties often don't take the most flattering of photographs but I assure you I am one handsome fella. I am a two year old purebred persian kitty - I even have papers to prove it - ooohhh fancy fancy!! I am full of personality and well, some might say a bit like kettle corn - salty and sweet. I am loving and snuggly and love to sleep on the bed with you but I also get a bit feisty at times - us persians are a 'spirited' bunch and we are passionate in all things!
I am one cool dude so if you think you want a true companion contact the pixie project. I am living in foster care so let's set up a time to meet!
I am fixed, vaccinated and microchipped,
My adoption fee is $100

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dakota, a Portland Persian cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Persian for sale in Portland, or seeking a Persian cat from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Persian breeders who help with Persian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
