Tucker's Story...
Tucker is the name and lovin' is my game and by-golly am I excellent at it! You see I have been doing lovin' professionally now for most all of my 2 years of life. Dogs often ask me if it is hard to keep giving all this lovin', to which I reply " my lovin' is for ever and ever". I can offer love to other dogs, to children, and I even offer it to cats- sometimes in the form of a good old fashion chase. You will want to give all the same lovin' back since I am such a good boy. I am crate trained, pottytrained and know some basic commands. I love to play with toys, play ball and shake hands. Don't I sound like the perfect addition to the foot of your bed! 2 years old-75lbs. My adoption fee is $160 and includes; current shots, neuter, microchip, 5 week Training Class, free veterinary exam ,1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tucker, a Portland Alaskan Malamute/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Alaskan Malamute/Labrador Retriever for sale in Portland, or seeking a Alaskan Malamute/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Alaskan Malamute/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Alaskan Malamute/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
