Link's Story...
I’m Link, a honey brindle male, medium size, new to the kennel, and looking for a home. The holidays are just around the corner, up the street, and across the wash, so if you’re thinking of adopting a fur kid, this is the perfect time for me to move in. The bio lady came to check me out recently and I made sure to give her kisses and a quick nuzzle to let her know that I’m an affectionate hound that is comfortable around people. I’d hoped to buy a laptop so that you could link to my face book page and we could chat, but I didn’t have enough doggie biscuits in my piggy bank. Sigh! But I know there’s someone out there that will link up with me and take me home. Close, personal contact is so much better than ROOing on line, don’t you think? Link is 2 1/2. His small animal status is unknown at this time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Link, a Tucson Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greyhound for sale in Tucson, or seeking a Greyhound dog from a breeder in Tucson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tucson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tucson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greyhound breeders who help with Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tucson paves the way for another one to be saved.
