Meesha - Pending's Story...
Meet Meesha! Be sure to watch the video.

Meesha is approx 5 years old and 15 pounds. She was rescued by our partner in Taiwan but has made the long trip here to Vancouver. Meesha only has 3 legs and is still getting used to walking. She will do best in a quiet home with someone who will be patient with her. Meesha was most likely abused and it takes some time for her to completely trust you but once she does you are forever part of her pack!

Meesha also needs to eat only one type of food, MediCal Gastro, which is available for purchase at vet offices. She has a very soft coat and a sweet personality. Meesha gets along with small dogs around her size but can be apprehensive with larger dogs.

If you feel you can provide Meesha a loving forever home, please fill out an adoption application at, www.penniesfordogs.org/adoptable_dogs_application.html

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Meesha - Pending, a Vancouver Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
