Bonnie's Story...
Bonnie is a quiet gentle young lady who we think may be related to Henry. She has a super sweet disposition and is a bit timid. Bonnie is the sweetest and calmest Border Collie I have fostered. She needs a tender hand but is super smart and learning to more confident every day. Please consider letting Bonnie steal your heart and a place in your home. Please email, call, or come meet this gentle soul at one of our mobile adoptions at PetSmart on Sunset and Southwest Saturday Jan 8 from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm
All adults in the family must be aware of and agree to the adoption. Applications/contracts are required for all Sadies adoptions, home visits and follow up may be requested. All Sadie's dogs are tested for Heartworm, up to date on vaccines and altered prior to adoption.
Sadies adoption fees run from $125 per dog. Adoption fees help cover spay and neuter, vaccines and foster care.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bonnie, a San Angelo Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in San Angelo, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in San Angelo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Angelo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Angelo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Angelo paves the way for another one to be saved.
