Sara's Story...
Sara is a lovely 4 – 5 month old pup who is intelligent, friendly and playful. She would be fine in a home with children of any age and would be a wonderful companion. She looks like a miniature Shepherd and will likely only weigh about 35 lbs as an adult. She is currently in a foster home learning new skills and would love to find her new home before Christmas.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sara, a Hamilton Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Hamilton, or seeking a Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Hamilton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hamilton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hamilton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hamilton paves the way for another one to be saved.
