Polar Bear's Info...

I am good with kids and good with dogs.

Polar Bear's Story...
Polar Bear is chained to a tree in her back yard with her latest puppies. A good neighbor has been looking after her and her offspring, and will arrange for Polar Bear's vetting once she's off the chain. This beautiful, blue-eyed girl is sweet as can be and though she's starved for attention, she's gentle with those who enter her chained area. She'll be a wonderful family dog. She deserves freedom and affection and she'll give all her love to anyone who gives her the chance.

I reallly don't know what breeds she is. She's only about 40 lbs and is probably 5 years old. She's located in Convington, GA, east of Atlanta. Please contact Robyn, her benefactor, at rtchapman@comcast.net. If anyone agrees to foster her, we'll proceed with her spay, etc.; we just can't get her spayed now if she has to go back onto the chain during recuperation. Rescues are also welcome to take her into their program.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Polar Bear, a Conyers Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky for sale in Conyers, or seeking a Husky dog from a breeder in Conyers.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Conyers already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Conyers breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky breeders who help with Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Conyers paves the way for another one to be saved.
